OICW

In about 3 hours time, I'm going off to Hombush to see the athletics. the session my parents and I are going to doesn't start until 6pm and goes to 10pm (Sydney local time) but we're going in early in case the transport system gets overloaded.
just wondering, is anyone else in this message forum going to see the Olympics? Not today but maybe this week?
I would imagine that most of the Aussie memebers of the forum are going. One more thing...

Why bother going in person when I can just as easily watch it from the convenience of my own living room?

On the TV at home would be great, except for two words: Jim Grey.
NBC should not only fire him, but arange to have him tied up with fishing wire, covered in rancid meat peelings, and dropped into the Atlantic.

If any of my Canadian bretheren are listening, Who thinks that CBC should kill the bitch reporter with the huge buttons?
She is the most unprofessional interviewer that I have ever had the displeasure of watching.
SHe is both rude, and unprofessional.
All in all, not the kind of bitch you want your top atheletes being demotivated by a day or so before their big race.
ANd what the hell happened to Canada, anyways?
Last Olypics at this time, didnt we have something like 20 medals?
The last time I looked, we had something like 6, and only one of them being Gold.
**** that.

Yeah, don't see the point of being there... With all the bodies and the sun, it can get kinda hot, you have to jostle with people to get to your seat and you have to trek half way around the stadium to find a toilet. And the thousand dollar ticket you bought is probably so far away that they appear like ants to you and you'll probably end up watching it all on the jumbo screen anyway... /infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
It is impossible for the glass to be half full or half empty for you see: there is no glass
