How do you install mods?

If they are UMOD files don't you just double-click on them?

Sorry, not only was it a phenomally silly question, it was also totally unnecessary!

Couldn't get MOD to install because it was the wrong version of Unreal! (i.e. not 2.2.4)

Don't forget to upgrade your copy ;-)
