I was just wondering what everybody thinks of TO ver. 1.6, from a "fun" /infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif point of view. What I mean is dont take into account realism as one of your judging factors.
Personally I think it is quite good, even if I do have a few gripes with it.

Your views.....?

:~)

I used to rock and roll all night and party every day. Then it was every other day. Now I'm lucky if I can find half an hour a week in which to get funky.

Didn't think much of it when I d'loaded it. I forget what version it was. Needless to say, it wasn't memorable /infopop/emoticons/icon_razz.gif

i played strike force and tac ops didnt care for either
hell they just got rid of the green alien skins in multyplayer. rainbow six was better then those 2.
TO & SF is just a new form of CS death match.

But for right now online play that rocks its counter strike hands down.

but,.... inf is gonna bolw it away counter strike fans are allways bitchin theres no team play its all dm run run run and shoot em up thats what quake is for. the CS players are going to start playin inf when it goes online. I know I am. /infopop/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

Dark Knight, if you well and trully don't want to start a flame war, the best thing to do would be to not post anything like this at all. It's inevitable that some TacOps fan is going to read a snide comment from an INF fan, feel the need to defend his favorite mod, and all hell will break loose. Someone should lock this thread before it gets out of hand.

I like TacticalOps. No it's not

=>R*E*A*L<=

but seriously, how many times in this board have people made the point that INF_ is about REALISM. Great...TO is about being a game that can be a lot of fun. Yes it's silly in places, Yes the bots are dumber than Romero, Yes you can jump off a three story building and keep fighting. But, it does play like a decent action movie, and it's a great way to kill an hour while burning disks.

Yeah I thought that that _may_ happen (hence the title of my post "Tac Ops (this is _not_ a bash TO session or an invite to start one)" I HATE stirring $h1t, and I dont think that I unintentionaly done so.

I'd have to agree with Hodag as far as TO is concerened.
