400 POSTS!!

Ok, just so that this thread doesent just sit here and clog up the place with its selfpimping little smile, lets see if we can turn it into something usefull.

MONEY

Money seems to be the root of all evil, the greed atached to it have curupted governments, companys, religion and whatnot, u name it, its been down that drain.

Take a look at India, theres a country with both extreme poperty and extreme welth, if anything...we can say that the welth is poorly disributed, some have so much while others have so litle. (not to rag on India, but its a great example of this, theres meny others that fit this profile, just dont care to name them all)

All this leeds me to thinking, if i ever got my hands on such extreme welth, would i corupt too?
Sure i can sit here now and think to myself "Hell no, i know what its like being poor, why would i do such a thing" but the statistics are against me.
What happens with the human mind in such surcomstances, what triggers this nasty behaviur in us?
Is it just the rong people that comes to power and welth, or are we looking at the root of all evil?

Be careful what you think dood, you never know what is comming around the corner. Instead of worrying about what juts might happen next week. Worry about whats happening right now. Otherwise you will blow up and hurt yourself or someone else.

I have no idea, I think that it has corrupted their minds but there is no way to tell. My cousin used to be a real nice guy till he got into the NHL and started making the big bucks. Then he became an *******. From the single experience I had with it, yeah it does corrupt.

I'm not sorry, the ****er thought that he was better than everyone else, he was traded to the carolina hurricanes and then 2 years ago when they fell out of the run for the stanley cup... He went and got drunk and then flipped his truck. I didn't even go to the funeral. Why should I? He didn't give a **** about anything other than money for 5 years. Like he would even notice up above that I went to a ****ing funeral.

Well that puts a twist on the story!

A guess that people figure their god when they get loaded, think about it, u can make everyone jump on comand, u dont like the waiter at that fancy resturant, u tell the maneger to fire him, and he will.
The maneger is afraid that if he doesent do as u wisch, u´ll tell all youre rich freinds not to eat there. U have controll/power.

Speaking about "rich freinds", it seems to me that when people reach a sertain level of welth/power, they ditch all their old freinds and find new ones in their "price class".

Personally, I think there are two types of financially rich people, but you only really notice one type.

Type 1: The Opulent
This has two sub-classes.
SubType 1: Born Into It
Parents/Relatives were rich and they get everything they want. Expect the world to give them the same treatment. Often tries to get the latest "toys" to get attention, or to prove superiority. This is often passed on the the children.
SubType 2: Worked for It, but are still biotchs or they won the lottery
Worked their @sses off for what they got, but expect that the world should bow down before them because they are successful. Often arrogant, thinking that the world revolves around success, and because they are successful, they should get special treatment. Probably also inherited (I haven't had a lot of experience with these).

Type 2: The Quiet Ones
You will hardly ever notice these unless you really look hard. They have money, but they don't live like they do. Often seem just normal middle class families. Their children work for what they get.

Where I go to school, I know very many people who fall into Type 2. They are decent, hardworking folk. And I know quite a few people that fall in Type 1. It is these I often have to resist from punching in the face.

Money corrupts those who allow their lives to revolve around it. And it is often these people that you hear about, not those who lead lives concerning themselves with that which matters more.

Whatever...
