You think that GT3 vid is good? Check out the Colin Mcrae vid on nVidia's site using the G2 U 64. They even said,and I'm paraphrasing here,"With the G2 U 64,users will get faster game play that will look better than the FMV used in the PSX version of the game". Now when I heard that,I was very skeptical,I mean,I know we've come far and all,but I remember watching the FMV for driving games and saying I can't wait for the day that the games look like that. Well,the wait is over. One look at the video and I almost passed out. The reflections on the car,the detail in the maps,the physics,OMFG. Do yourself a favor and check it out.

You know, I'm getting mighty sick of this. Whenever anyone, on any message board, posts something that even remotely supports the Playstation 2, they immediately get shot down by about a hundred flamers all bitching about how "The X-Box is gonna' kick the PS2's a**" or "My PC can do everything a PS2 can do, and I only payed an extra $2000 for it". What's the big f*cking deal? I happen to think the PS2 rocks. Why does everyone seem hell bent on prooving me wrong?

You already know that I support the PS2 and I would have definitely bought one had I not owned this pc. I was just pointing out that a game on the G2 U 64(a card I don't even have)looks better than GT3 is all. No reason for the constipated mad duder,even though he doesn't look nearly as constipated as he used to. /infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Once again,I meant no disrespect,it's just I couldn't believe this vid when I saw it and it really looks better than the GT3 one IMHO.

I think Ballisto hit the nail on the head there, if I didn't have a computer, I'd go buy a console (assuming I couldn't afford a computer).

Although, since the PS2 plays DVDs I may buy one because I'm thinking about getting a DVD player, so I might as well get one that plays games too.

Whoa whoa whoa. You guys got the wrong idea. I wasn't refering to any of you. I was just pissed because of a rather lenghty debate on the Strike-Force forums over which is better - the PS2, Dreamcast, X-Box, or PC. Ballistophobia's post was just the straw that broke the camel's back. I hold no grudge with him. Hell, in hind sight, it seems kind of silly for me to explode like that over something so trivial. My bad.
