err,i got my term 1 report card back.....and i am bearly passing,im failing art and health,its pissing me off,they say i hand in incomplete reports,I DO EVERYTHING THEY ASK!!!!!!!if it sais"do an essay on aggresive communication"then i do a report on aggresive communication!when i get it back it sais"did not give an article on the back"HOW THE **** AM I SUPOSED TO KNOW THAT I WAS SUPOSED TO USE AN ARTICLE FOR SOMETHING,THEY DID NOT TELL ME IN ANY WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
this is pissing me off!!!!!!!!!!!!1

It annoys me when people can't even write a vague semblance of the English language. Conversations on things like AIM and IRC are one thing, but here you have time to formulate your post and make sure it at least looks legible.

That post made my head hurt. And I am engineer.

Report cards?

Me, I got straight A's. Oh well. I suggest that you do more than you are told for your assignments, that way you can't go wrong (unless your teacher gives specific instruction, which you said s/he wasn't). Oh, and by the way - I'm only fourteen, so disregard my comment if you'd like.

I'm 14 as well and don't write that bad. It also strikes me as odd that you fail art and health, cause those are super easy. Hell, i was asleep the entire time in health and got a B. Oh, hehe, those were good days.

I hate how people who get good grades are automatically assumed to be brownnosers. It is simply a defense by those too lazy to learn to make themselves feel superior.

I'll give you my example. I would give my teachers such hell (at least the ones who deserved it), that they would loathe me as an individual (I treat all teachers with the respect that they deserve - for some, that is a lot, while for others, it is none). However, my work was solid and they had no choice but to give me high marks.

Good grades has absolutely nothing to do with kising ass.

However, there are those who get good grades, but are pretty unintelligent, but that is an entirely different rant.

Then, there's me. I'm exceptionally lazy (I read newspapers during math class, sleep in physics, and watch movies or surf in english)... I still get great grades. And, like TC, I treat the teachers with the same respect they give everyone overall. They can treat me like gold and everybody else like crap -- and I'll treat them like crap too.

Anywho, you arent to blame for not knowing the way I see it. But now you know and next time you'd be better prepared. You could ask your teacher if there are any special requirements that go with an assignment. I hate it when I hand in work and have them say I'm missing something.
