I just heard on the news that the courts ruled in favor of Gore today... hmm.. this might get interesting :)

I find it a little tiresome that the courts ruled in Gore's favor. But then I've always thought that all the votes should have been counted. There is only so far you can go I admit, and I wouldnt say its better this way. But its better to have a clear winner, espcially in the case of a presidential position.

Then count them ALL! Gore has no credibility when he says he is all about counting ALL the ballets, but then supporting law suits such as the one to throw out 15k overseas ballets because of some moron election supervisor in one county. Or not including the thousands of ballets thrown out becuase of dimples or user error in states like Ohio, or Mich...

Give me a break. What if I voted for all democrat folks for all my local stuff, but voted for bush for pres...lets just say that I screwed up and did not press the presidential one all the way through...is it fair for ANYONE to make the determination that becuase I voted Democrat down the rest of the ballet, that I must have meant to vote for Gore? That is the problem...you can't divine these kinds of things. Especially because there are a great number of people that chose NOT to vote for president at all, but voted all the local leg stuff. How can someone come in and say, "Well, they must have meant to do this..."

Ugh...just sick of it.
