I am looking for a sniping/sharpshooting guide.
Especially I am interested in precise shooting with a pistol. How to breath, stand and how to hold the gun correctly.
It's just for softairs and not for real guns, but some friends want to do some kind of contest. I recently got my first pistol and need some advise.
Maybe you guys know some good links.
I did not find anything useful.

don't know any pistol sharpshooting sights.
as with everything the most important thing that will affect accuracy is practice. you need to find what works for you.
well from personal experience the next biggest thing i've ever found is how you set the sights on the gun. i've never been able to hit **** with a gun that anybody but me zeroed. i think that with small projectiles like bbs and pellets that this is especially important. since often times the target is so small in relation to the sight. I decided that the front blade on my airgun was to big to be very accurate. often when i would shoot birds it would apear twice as large as the bird. i cut a small notch in the middle of it to use it as a better reference.
i think the next thing is just learning to hold it steady. when breathing it's best to inhale then slowly exhale till your comfortable and hold it while you fire. it can take preactice to find this.
Can you spot the sniper?

Haven't found anything about shooting with pistols, but a lot about sniping with guns.
You are right about breathing. I tried it and it did improve my shooting a bit.
But I think relaxing is very important, too.

i did a bit of competetion-style target shooting with air pistols and they taught me that the best position is with your arm extended directly out from your shoulder, your head facing right (or left, whatever), with your off-hand in a comfortable position, be it at your side or in your pocket. Do not put it behind your back, it streches your chest muscles or something.
