Damn the SL-8. It looks somewhat ugly. Frikkin gun control whakos. Yes!!! White is a non threatening color!!!

Other than that, I wish I had money and was 2 years older... :)

I like the SL8. It's the closest to owning an MP5 or G3 I'd ever be able to get (plus I kinda like the look of it ;) )

Oh well, 1st things 1st, I gotta get my hands on a Para Ordnance P10-45

My only gripe with it is that it is white. I saw some pics of it on Hkpro in black and it looked damn sexy... Also, the sight rail seems to be somewhat long...

since it's basicaly plastic, I don't know why they don't make it available in other colors. Camo would be cool (so would bright pretty colors like yellow and pink :) )

Yeah, I'm not thrilled with the color but it would be a good all around rifle.

I think the reason why it was made white was to conform to import and assault weapon restrictions, which say that an "assault weapon" is black. Therefore HK makes it white.

Stupid if you ask me...

Yeah jaunty, I saw the Kimber. I'm looking for more of a carry weapon though (would be hard to carry with the aimpoint :) )

Would be a nice one to get into IPSC with though

I don't think that is legal, though. It seems to have a mag of a greater capacity than 10 (God knows that 10 rounds per magazine are enough to hold of an armed force), a shorter barrel than regularly allowed, and a full auto trigger group (banned because ghetto blasting thugs obviously save their pennies for HK weapons instead of crack). That UMP has a different purpose.
