I just read a post at- http://www.recguns.com/MovieGuns.html , now let's see if any one here can spot something wrong with this post-

by Ryan Meyering (rymerin@ucla.edu).
One of the coolest aspects of Eraser was the rifles they used -- shoulder-fired weapons capable of launching aluminum projectiles at "near light speed!" My problem is this -- if a .460 Weatherby Magnum with its 8000 ft./lbs. of recoil is capable of dislocating shoulders, as I've heard claimed before, then I shudder to think of what this movie weapon would, in reality, do to the guy behind it! It seems that Hollywood needs to brush up on their knowledge of physics as well as firearms.

Now it look's to me that this guy needs to brush up on his firearms- a .460 Weatherby has NOT got 8000 ft/lbs of recoil (That would rip your Fucking arm OFF!!!) it realy has between 70-90 ft/lbs of recoil depending on the load i belive, 8000 ft/lbs is the muzzle energy when you use the most powerful Factory load avalibale! .
Iceman.
