Though what's much more impressive is the older OpenGL demo for Geforce graphics cards. If you have one, download it. demo 1.02

I didn't believe it when I saw the terrain with lots of trees, butterflies and a few dinos (which show some graphic special effects) with a good framerate on my system.
in 1024x768x32 the average framerate of that demo was 43, the minimum not dropping below 25 fps on my simple 32 MB Geforce2 GTS.
It's more impressive terrain than any other future terrain engines I've seen (+ a good framerate even on today's hardware)
