I've had my current signature image for more than six months now and, frankly, it's starting to get old, so I tossed together a new one earlier this afternoon. What do you think? Should I run with it or stay with the tried and true (and much more colorful) original? Personally, I like the look of it, but the original seems so much more... lively.

of course I just changed a sig I've had for a long while (and I'm not happy with the new one, but it'll have to stay 'til I come up with something better)

I'm surprised at you Keech. We have a place for those things;
Sig test thread (http://unreal.infopop.net/OpenTopic/page?q=Y&a=tpc&s=10009422&f=16609262&m=3820976221)

I like the original because it has more character, but it's a little crowded. The new one is more simplistic and has plenty of open space for text. I've also got an "aged newspaper" version of it which I've posted below.
ShakKen: I'm special, so I get my own thread. :D
Besides, Gryphon's Official Sig Test thread got messed up hardcore, what with all the people trying to post too-large images and testing out wacky html codes.

I think we have a winner. I went back in and cleaned up the "aged" version. Here's the final result. I think I'll start using this as my sig now, though I'll still keep the old one on my hard drive for old time's sake.

EDIT: Anyone know how to get rid of that big, fat border around linked images?

It depends how you put it in your sig.
If you use UBB code, then you can't
If you use HTML code, then you do it like so

A bit late, but very nice.
I seriously do not know how people can draw, I totally suck at anything to do with drawing. Although i do look at alot of art, still im a terrible drawer.

Like the artwork if nothing else. Uh, don't want to say anything about Ah! My Mini Goddess, so I'll just back on out now...

GJ Keetch, the border fits the image in my opinion.
I poured spot remover on my dog once.... He's gone now.

Though I think the added border clutters it up a little. I'd go sans border.
