For a living, I make fruitcakes out of things I can find around the house, like spare fruits, spices, vegetables, small rodents, and the occasional broken chair. These fruitcakes usually sell pretty well at the county Christmas fair, because they are so good. Unfortunately, nobody comes back again to buy my fruitcakes again. Except for that one time that one family came by wailing about little Timmy. Since they were hurting business, I had to break out the cane of crowd dispersal and shoo them off. Anyway, this guy from the FDA called about coming by to see my "operation" (I've always dreamed of having an operation, simply because both of my kidneys are plain busted, and I have to filter my blood through a dead stray raccoon I found lying about) in the next few days, so I'll probably have to clean the place up all nice and good. Maybe I'll even give the nice gentleman some fruitcake.
Well, now that that's out, I better get back to my prunes.
