I just figured out I had IE on fullscreen, which takes out the adress bar.

I find myself using iCab most of the time, even if it has zero CSS support. However, when I need to do secure access (IE, accessing my SIS Account for the University, or doing Online Banking), I fall back to Internet Explorer.

I'm no fan of MS, but the fact is IE is the best browser out there. No other browser (save Amaya) has IE's full CSS support, standard support for javascript, and full XML support. XML support is important because if XML is supported then the browser can support any other new W3C standard, like MathML or SMIL. All use XML to define their DTD.

Netscape is just pathetic. It doesn't support CSS2, it doesn't support javascript standards, it doesn't support XML, it doesn't support standard DHTML, it doesn't even have full HTML support. Its an embarrasment.

Personally I have found a good solution is to purchase or get the free version of www.98lite.net (http://www.98lite.net) and rip out all IE and web intergration nonsense then install opera which is a very fast and decent browser with email support.
You will find your pc runs a lot faster and smoother and if worse comes to worse IE is still there just without it taking over your pc.
My general standard of net use has improved vastly since i have made this move.

Opera is nice, but it still lacks support for some standards.
