I just wanted to know what Action Movies you guys are into.

note this is ACTION movies, which means they are realistic, but not real. so, no Sci-Fi, and no war movies. movies like Mission Impossible 2, the Blood Opera, gunsmith cats, ect... so by Action I mean that most must of movie is around off the wall gunplay, and martial arts

Dont watch that many movies these days but I gotta say i loved Die Hard when it came out.
That is a classic action film and gotta love the barreta :D

Edit: Wait! I can't forget to mention Heat, now can I? Heat is a kick ass action movie, if you haven't seen it, go rent it now.

Ehy fuct you said "la femme Nikita" ?

"La femme nikita" and "The professional" can be the origina French movie or a crappy remake one from the movies called "Nikita" and "Leon"

I advice you to watch the original French movie. It is 100 better !I have seen both and i prefer the french one !

I advice everyone to see both. ce.

Nikita and Leon made by Luc Besson. There are a short and a full version. Of course get the full ;)

Oh, yeah, The Professional is a great movie. If there is more than one movie named "The Professional," I must have seen the French/American version, as Jean Reno and Gary Oldman were in the one I saw. Great ending. Kind of reminds me of what happens when you die in Infiltration with a live grenade in your hand and your killer hangs around your corpse. Hehe.

I loved "La Femme Nikita," too, the one noted in the poster in the post by DarkBls. I'm confused, though. Is that the same movie as "Nikita," the first poster? If it's different, I'd like to locate and watch this "Nikita." A bad remake was mentioned. I saw an American movie with nearly the same plot, which wasn't as good, but I don't think the name "Nikita" was in the title. Wonder if that was the "crappy remake," DarkBls?

Leon i don't know is there are a remake in USA.
But for Nikita yes. I don't know which one you saw.
The main actress in the remake is blonde and give a punch when training in martial art in the movie and in the orgininal one the actress have brown hair and slap the guy ;)

well cowboy bebop, like the MATRIX is more about gunplay, and kung fu. which is a staple of the "action" movie, so they seem to fit there better than in a "sci-fi" catagory! so..

Gotta love in Getaway right in the beginning when Kim Bassinger is shootin' that Colt 1911 and you see all the motions of it firing, man still step and slow mo never got so much of a work out on my DVD player. And Thief is just a classic I love it! Leon The Professional becuase it has 25 minutes of deleted scenes that make the movie alot better!
