View Full Version : .avi's in UT

I'm working on a UT TC and need to play a short, prerendered .avi at the start of the game (where UT currently shows the city flythrough). Does anyone have any idea how to go about setting this up? Because of the NURBS models and chr. animations, it *has* to be a movie (.avi, .mov, whatever) of some kind.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

This ain't gonna work.
The 'intro' is just a plain old unreal
level. I've never seen anything
with avi/mov/mpeg in unreal.

Mmmmm. Yeah. I was hoping there was a way to perhaps set up an external dll that could run the .avi while the game is loading up. Not "within" UT itself, but over it while it was loading up, as it were...
