I'm new to EVERYTHING. Help, please???

I'm new to this WHOLE GENRE of games and would like some pointers on anything you have to say, if you would be so kind. I do have a specific question, though...

How do you chat in a multiplayer game?

I got into one once and the guy probably thought I was an *** or something.

For unreal or UT to "talk" while in an online game just press the "T" (T for talk) and type in your message then press the "enter" key. Hope that helps and good luck...

Due to the fast pace of multiplayer first-person-shooters (aka. fps), people use a lot of short forms, like:

gg = good game (it is polite/customary to say after a game)

g1 = good one

ns = nice shot

L8r = later

brb = be right back

c u = see you

Of course, you can combine them, like, "cu,gg"

My only advice for the newbie (meant with love, not meanness) player is to always move. Do not stand still. A moving target is harder to hit.

Thanks, guys. I'll keep all that in mind. BTW, what exactly does "F" do, anyways? I can't figure it out.

Oh, and one other thing...how does a coop game work? I don't wanna go in there and screw things up for other people just cause I don't know what's going on. Thanks.

"F" means feign death..I use it when I got to answer phone, nature calls etc....but no one respects that..they will turn you into gib soup while you are gone..only way to survive a feign death if you can find somewere out of the way to hide.
