I would like to know how many of you who are having the real bad FPS problem have installed 2.8 on a fresh clean install of UT.
I couldn't even get 2.8 to run at all, but after wiping it out and starting from fresh clean HD space it runs beautifuly. In fact a couple of hours ago I ran a regular UT game and the performance was better then usual.
I think you have to wipe and reinstall UT every once in a while or your performance will drop (especaly if you have a sh*tload of maps and mods installed)
