How do I make anything but flat ground with the terrain editor in UED2???
I can choose number of intersections and the size, but it's flat! And I can do nothing about it!
How does it work?
And what does the "vertex editing" mode do???

I have noticed the exact same thing with the terrain editor. Kinda pointless if you ask me. I did happen to find a cool little program called TerraEdit on the internet somewhere that works really good but I cannot use it with the new editor because it will not import brushes :( So I have installed UnrealEd 1.0 as well as 2.0 on here now.
If you want that TerraEdit program email me and I will send it to ya. It's really small but really cool.

The way to use the BSP Terrain Editor thing is to select a vertex then hold ALT and move it to where you want it. that simple...

Silencermvm2, thanx for posting that link. I had found that before but forgot to save the location. That is a great tutorial. I haven't tried making one using the grayscale images but have made a few just by pulling the terrain around in TerraEdit and it works great.
