Hi guys! I'd love some feedback on the map I'm making.
It's about 50% done now, all of the top area is done. 1v1 maps are fun :)
I know I kinda went wild on the eyecandy, but fps will still be moderately high cuz there won't be tons of people running around gibbing each other.

Post all your concerns/questions/flames/whatever here please. Thanks!

Not sure
I finished up a good half of the underground yesterday
so give me today to make the other half, tomorrow to add weapons & ambient sounds...
then prolly another half a day or so on pathnodes and bots and I'll have it out on the 30th.
Still not sure how I'm gonna make the other half today :)
I'll think of something.

I'm not sure that sun works w/ the theme. It seems to be later at night and such, and a sun just doesn't fit.

Drop me an ICQ, I'd appreciate a playtest!
I'm still building the underground area though.
There are actually two suns and a moon in my skybox :)
I'll special light them softer maybe, kinda bright right now.

BTW, the map is named DM-Abyss, the Gateway to the Abyss. Its basically an ancient structure built over a bottomless hole to hell :)
Making the hole is fun, lotsa red fog and whatnot.

This is my 3rd map. Both are up at NaliCity...one is DM-Bloodbath the other is DM-Abbey. Bloodbath is my 1st, Abbey my 2nd.
Its kind of funny how much your mapping skills increase every map you make :)

Looks great! How long have you been editing? How many maps? BTW lp, don't be too hard on jerky, he's just trying to help. The whole point of asking feedback is to listen to criticisms so that you can make even more improvements (even if they aren't always right).

Well anyway keep up the good work clanless!
