View Full Version : Strange body pickup bug
13th Mar 2001, 03:31 PM
I looked around the ground and there was a body and an mp5. I stepped close to both of them, looked at the body (or something like that, i'm not quite sure) pressed the get key and suddenly I picked up the body. I let go of the body by pressing either get or drop weapon, don't remember anymore. Will try to repeat this phenomenom.
Perhaps it was because the body and gun were so close. On another note, either I was holding the knife before I picked up the body or after I picked up the body, the game switched my weapon to the knife.

i got the same thing, although it's still a pretty cool bug/feature
i took all the dead bodies i could find in a room, and put 'em all in a big pile in the corner

Could actually be useful, like in Deus Ex. If you kill someone, you could move their body so the next victim passing by doesn't see it.

I like doing that while I'm dead and waiting for the next round.
Playing Poltergeist with the corpses :D
though they should fix the bug where you can open doors while dead (don't worry, even those Counterstrike guys had to deal with this at one time)
