Should we try Infiltration?

I haven't played Half Life or Counter Strike, so I can't comment on those. I played Rainbow 6, but I didn't like it too much. However, Infiltration is completely different; it's quite realistic and more importantly, it's a hell of a lot of fun. I highly recommend that you download Infiltration and also Strike Force; they're both fantastic mods!

Personally, I find Infiltration is closer to RS than CS is, so you'll probably enjoy Infiltration more than CS.

You definitely won't find anything missing in terms of realism or graphics. Gameplay, well, whether or not you like it depends on what you prefer.

nah just kidin i used to play R6 and i still play CS.
INF is a lot faster then R6 but not all that different then CS except you dont have to buy weapons and there are no mission goals in INF yet. Then again there wasnt any in R6 either Death match for ever?????

I play INF since the realeased of the 1.70. And one time (so week ago) i tried CS because of his popularity ... I was very desapointed !

INF is the best FPS ever made and the most promising for his future

I find it odd that you would go through the trouble to sign up and post in a forum, rather than take an hour or so to download the mod and give it a try. It's free, so you're not going to loose anything but some personal time...

Anyway, go for it. I liked Rainbow 6 and hate counterstrike, feel so-so about strike force. INF rules and is way better than the other mods!

I was an avid fan of Rainbow Six (The Original). Infiltration, in all honesty is EVERYTHING and more what Rogue Spear should have / could have been. Give it a try... You will not be dissapointed. As a matter of fact... 9 out of 10 "old school" Rainbow Six players have made the switch already. Why haven't you? =)

I´am a serious RS player and I love da game ( I´am no PDW sucker I use: G3A3 ; G36K ; MP5/10 ) and in its playstyle RS is unique.

It´s hard to compare with Inf, but I recommend you to download Inf, you´ll missing serious fun if you don´t. The best and only mod I like for UT ( which I don´t like as game ). SF didn´t gave me the right kick, but beware teamplay in Inf suckz bad ( compared to RS ). Thats maybe, because it isnt online for a long time, we´ll see.

CS is a great sucker game, all those unrealistc fps people say to me: "Look now I also play a more realistic fps, like you do, it´s fun. we make agame in LAN and first thing I experience everyone uses a sniper rifle ( PDW in RS is not good, but this is horrible ) + I get hit by< several rounds of different calibers and iam still alife waht a realisticly desigend mod.

BTW what I really love about INF are the sights this the best idea I saw for years in fps genre.

INF gives the sort of "grunt" side of the story of the military, but while keeping the teqniques of stealth and silence and careful, precise planning to take down the enemy. You will expieriance giving cover fire for your men, and giving the GO to Breach, Bang&Clear a room, and stalking a slippery, clever enemy, when he turns his back to a shadow that is consealing you, you will silently extinguish his life with a quick slit in the back of the neck. In Kosovo, you will have to hunt down the elite sniper assasinating your team mates.
