View Full Version : General Protection Fault in my DM-map

Hi all,
I get the following error when a player spawns into my (own created) UT-level. I don't know the respawn-position which cause this error, because UT returns to my desktop to quickly. But this is the error:

Anyone has any idea? I've replaced all the playerstart positions in my level, but i keep getting this error.

I think that is actually a error message caused by a pathnoding problem not a player start. Readjust your paths in your level, make sure that the bots don't get stuck anywhere, or that they don't touch walls while running the routes. There is no true science to fixing this problem. I guess the way I do it is to put one bot in the level and follow him around until he crashes, then you know that wherever he was, was the problem area.

I had this problem when I did a path define after deleting all the pathnodes, I figured the items and weapons would be enough to make the team spawns work (just for testing) The map would play for about 5 min, then GPF. Don't know if this helps you, but that's what did it for me.
