Anyone Have a pic of a streetsweeper, especially one with a drum.

Any way I saw on TV about this lady getting shot from 12 feet away by a shot gun and only stustaines minot flesh wounds, the pellets only went in 1/2 to 1 1/2 inch in her body and she was out of the hospital that day. I'm guessing a 20GA sawed of,you?

Was this a realistic show like cops or something?

A shotgun blast loaded with anything less then 20 gauge would F---k you up and go alot deeper than 1/2 inches, especially from only 12 feet away.
It was probably just some kind of Birdshot.

Think Son Think

If the soldier is walking forwards then the sniper will aim forward a few inches. A sniper, unless he has a scope that compensates for movement, must shoot where the triangle of the face will be. Or he just likes shooting his victims in the neck which is one of the 3 Instant kill zones. The other 2 are The triangle like you said and the heart. Other areas of the body will take time (even short time) to die.

MikeeUSA.

thats called a "striker"

Its 12-gauge and only fires semi auto/double action.

a true street sweeper would probly be the Pancor Jackhammer, it fires something like 240rpm, only a 10 round drum tho

Last time I checked, the Striker-12 shotgun was classified a "destructive device" by the US BATF, putting it in the same category as 40mm grenade launchers and GE miniguns. They can't be bought or sold in the US without fingerprints, FBI background check, sign-off of the Chief Law-Enforcement Officer in your state, etc.

I have handled a Striker-12 and it's not that neat. Yes, it holds 12 rounds, but it operates like a old-fashioned Colt .45 revolver. You have to push the empty shells out of the rotating drum one at a time with the spring-loaded ejector rod along the right side of the barrel. Very slow.
Plus, the trigger pull is very high. I couldn't measure it, but it was more than a DA pistol, usually 12 pounds. If you aim the shotgun and pull the trigger, you can watch the gun drift to the right as you pull.

Im sure you could modify the striker to be full auto... most people who *ahem* need true street sweepers make their own with a huge clip.

phuck making a streetsweeper, just get a jackhammer, its so simple...

It reloads easy as piss, fires a tried and true cartridge, and from what i've heard, its being developed to fire "advanced ammuntitio" whatever the phuck that means. Maybe its gonna fill the gaping hole left by the CAWS project.

But i hate all shotguns anyway.. their only good for two things, hurting your shoulder, and opening doors, but anyone can open a door with an M203 ;)
