OK, Snakeye was home that weekend, Snakeye installed 2.8, 2.8 worked!! Good medicine!!

But I ran into some invisible wall, perhaps someone could help me, since I didn't find anything like that in the manual..

After being shocked about the bot names(who gave the first bot my name?!) I just copied my bot information from my UT user.ini, and it worked. So where's my problem, you might ask yourself, well it follows:

- I just can't chose what I look like(ain't there a player setup where I can change my appearance?)

- As soon as I switch from INF skins to regular UT skins, I start a round and get some 'out of regular time - sudden death mode' thing and start without weapons. Why can't I use regular UT models/skins?

Maybe you ask yourself 'why the hell does this stupid ******* want to use reg UT skins?'; answer: as long as I can't chose my INF skin, I prefer my slightly modified Jayce skin(no she ain't naked..) - or brief: I'm just a pervert.

Hope someone can put some light into this darkness, that surrounds me..

I didn't notice any change in the bot names in INF from the standard (strange) UT bot names. I have systematically gone through the entire 32 bots and renamed them all, gave them all base rank of Private, and adjusted the bot intelligence to Skilled (though I still find it too easy). I then played a few games with random bot selection, and based on their final scores, gave some of the bots promotions (which entailed new rank, and skill adjustments).

It just makes it more fun this way, making it seem a little more realistic. I've attached my INF280User.ini file for those interested. The only thing I really have yet to do is adjust the bots favorite weapons, to coincide with INF better.
