Map installing problems

I downloaded part of the map pack. When I go to play infiltration, none of the maps are available. I downloaded the UMOD, unzipped it to the UT directory. I figured that was all I needed to do. Could someone please tell me what I am doing wrong. Thanks.

What version of the map pack have u downloaded?

The split umod version?
If u only downloaded some of the files in the split umod version, u cant play, theres some files in there INF 2.8 need.
Download them all!

If u downloaded the full map pack umod version and that dident work, then something must have fraged up under download, then u have to do it all over again /infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

Same goes for the full zip version.

I downloaded the complete 42mb map pack unzipped it to the UT root, and it still doesn't work. If anyone has any thoughts, please let me know. I am supposed to install something?

Check and make sure that the maps are actually installed into the ...UnrealTournament\INF_Maps directory. If they are, then i haven't got a clue why they aren't working.

I got youre mail, but i cant send any mails because i have just changed Inet disributer, and havent gotten the suport i need! /infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

Anyways, as keiichi said, check that youre maps landed in the right directory.
(...\unrealtuornament\INF_maps) and not(...\unrealtuornament\maps).

Also, are u running INF 2.8x by clicking the shortcut youre suposed to make?
Or are u trying to run it truw UT (witch u cant)
I think i heard that running (or rather, trying to run) it fruw UT would give thouse problems!

If u havent made the shortcut, its explained in the "online manual" under "install and setup".
