Hello,

I recently downloaded Infiltration 2.8, and installed it on a 432 version of Unreal Tournament.
Unfortunately, Infiltration won't work with neither Shooting Range or Local War. When I try the Shooting Range the blue "Loading" screen appears for half a second then it's quickly disappears only to show the following error msg :

Failed launching URL
Can't find file 'DM-INF-ShootingRange.unr'

To those asking if I have the map-pack ; the answer is no. And to see wether this was the reason of the error, I tried a Local War with 2 different gametypes (DM & TDM) on 2 different UT maps and both gave the same error msg :

Failed launching URL
Can't find file for package 'Detail'

Any kind of help would be appreciated ! I'm really looking forward to playing the game. Plus downloading 40MBs for nothing on a 56k isn't fun ...

I run under a Celeron@458Mhz, 128MB RAM, nVidia TNT and WinMe (upgrade). The Unreal Tournament installation isn't a "fresh" one. It contains models, maps, and a number of Mutators and Mods (LazyMatrix, MatrixMoves, AgentX, etc.).
I've got the latest patch installed (432) and don't experience problems with those or with UT.

Thanks again !

If you haven't installed the Map Pack, then v2.80 won't find DM-INF-ShootingRange.unr because the Shooting Range map IS in the Map Pack. /infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

The Map Pack also includes sounds and textures. Maybe the lack of those also produced the "detail" error?

My best advice is to 'bite the bullet' and download those 40 megs.

Yes, but I dunno if Detail.utx is in the map pack. To solve the 'Cannot find package for Detail' you must either make a full UT install or copy manually Detail.UTX from the UT CD to Textures directory under your UT directory.

still no sig.. when i figure out one i like, this crap will go out /infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
