2.81 trouble

I just read the write up for inf 2.81 and I think I made a mistake. Will the patch work on a mac? It says that 428 ir required but macs are still at 425a. IF 2.81 will NOT work on a mac yet how do I uninstall it? When I launched it I got this little error message:

<<Warning: Failed to load 'InfiltrationUT': Can't find BoolProperty in file 'BoolProperty Engine.LevelInfo.bLowRes'>>

I installed the UMOD version on my Mac with 425a and didn't have any trouble. The main Infiltration screen still lists 2.80 as the version number, but that's because the launcher itself was not updated. I noticed most of the improvements described in the 2.81 bug fix, as well as the grenade happy 2.81 bots (I kinda like them), so I'm sure it installed fine.
