MAC 2.81 probs MAC

ive downloaded 2.81 3 times now, i tried the umod twice and both times i got a corrupt file, it would only open as text and when i unstuffed it it said it was a corrupt file. i tried the manual install and this didn't work either, i got an error as i was opening inf from the launcher

if i use the manual install i get this error when i start up infiltration:

I get that exact same error. Also with the umod. couldn't get that to work at all. Hopefully there is a workaround, or they'll release another mac only version of it.

I had the same thing but i fixed it. Use stuffit instead of zip it. Then drag it in the umod installer. Thats what i did and it works great now.

the umod still wont unstuff properly, if i use stuffit it says the CRC check failed and the file could be corrupt.

ok, Bob, i got it working. in another post, someone said to use zipit, and in preferences-compression, turn macbinary to never, and preferences-misc, uncheck the smart line strip feed option. and doing that, the umod was the proper size, and installed just fine /infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
