How can I set my weapon hot-keys?

I don't seem to be able to set hotkeys for my weapons. Neither using the hot-keys for normal UT(With the weapon replacements inthe INF screens) nor using selectWeapon in the preferences window seems to work.

Any ideas?

(Just to be clear, I'd like to say...hit the "W" key to bring up the Robar.

The Robar has a specific weapon slot like the standard UT weapons have ( no.9 if I'm not wrong /infopop/emoticons\icon_wink.gif ).
So use the standard UT key-setup and select your specific key to use slot no. 9.
