View Full Version : Swimming bug?

I'm sure everyone has noticed this already but, since I don't see it posted anywhere, I'll give it a shot. It seems to me that the swimming speed is about 1/100th of your walking speed. It's agonizingly slow - especially when your movement speed is set to 5% like mine. Is this intentional or a bug? If you don't know what I'm talking about, fire up DM-ReactorSix and jump in the water at the Blue Team spawn point.

I just downloaded it, but will be able to play it in one week at best.
Just glad they have not taken me for a swimming bug: 25 meters and then sunk! hehe

Hmmm... So, you're telling me I'm alone on this? It's not the current, because I'm swimming with it, not against it, and it happens on other maps too. The pond in CubanDawn does the same thing.

movement speed of 5% is a "bit" slow /infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif
increase it to 10-20% ... this setup is still "real" and swimming should be no prob anyway...

the speed setup is slowing down all kind of movements.. including swimming of course
