View Full Version : I can't run INF fullscreen...

I can't run Infiltration at fullscreen, I've tried alt-enter, and the higher resolutions make the window bigger and all, but it runs too slow, how do I get it to run like UT (no window)?

Choose the right video render, software,D3D or glide.

That should do it.

First thing, open up your UT/System/Unrealtournament.ini and find:

[WinDrv.WindowsClient]
WindowedViewportX=1024
WindowedViewportY=768
WindowedColorBits=32
FullscreenViewportX=800
FullscreenViewportY=600
FullscreenColorBits=32

If you haven't fixed the display error at 1024 x 768, do that. The game doesn't work too well at that resolution, so lower FullscreenViewportX and Y to 800x600 or 680x460. This will cause UT to open up correctly no longer showing the Window's task bar and being rendered by your graphics card. The next thing you'll have to do if you use a D3D card and are using D3D, is to change the
FullscreenColorBits to 16 instead of 32. At 32 colors, the Infiltration menu and mouse are totally messed up.

Some of Murphy's Combat Laws
1. All 5 second grenade fuses burn down in 3 seconds
2. Friendly fire isn't
3. If the enemy is in range-SO ARE YOU!
4. The only thing more accurate than incoming enemy fire is incoming friendly fire.

That worked a bunch, thanks! Now to solve the bot-dumbness problem :P

BTW..Did you get those combat laws from the Half-Life: Opposing Force manual?

If it's stupid but works, it isn't stupid

When in doubt, empty your magazine

If your attack is going really well, it's an ambush

The enemy diversion you are ignoring is the main attack

If you are short of everyting but enemy, you are in combat

Incoming fire has the right of way
