Problem with my menu screen and other stuff

When i start infiltration first of all it goes into a window and wont go to full screen mode,the menus are all black and are cut off, and when i can start a game i have no crosshair. Can anyone help me?

You won't ever have a crosshair, because crosshairs aren't in the real life army. :) Don't know about your menu problems, I'd check and make sure you installed INF properly (?).

The bug with the PC version and the main menu *fix!*

I have found a way to fix the bug where the mouse is kinda retarded, and the menu has a black hole in it when using D3D. You need to change colors from 32 bit (defualt) to 16 bit. This fixes all of the problems, looks bad, but it makes it all better. Since you'll have a hard time changing it in game, go to the Infiltration280.ini in your ut/system folder and go down to


[WinDrv.WindowsClient]
WindowedViewportX=1024
WindowedViewportY=768
WindowedColorBits=32
FullscreenViewportX=800
FullscreenViewportY=600
FullscreenColorBits=32

And change the FullscreenColorBits to 16, and if you haven't fixxed the display error at 1024 x 768, do that too. The game doesn't work too well at the Res, so lower it to 800x600, 680x460.

hey Anubis. What do you mean by a "black hole" in the menu? my menus get cut off at both the left and right sides of the screen. I originally thought it was beacause i changed my resolution to 800X600, (which it isn't, i found) but i couldn't change my resolution because that part of the menu would be cut off, includint the little "X" in the corner to close it, so i was forced to ctrl-alt-del out of there. Its really starting to bug me, i can't get to my loadout screen. HELP!

I have installed and successfully played, but only at 1024x768. I can use both 16 bit and 32 bit color depth... When I try to switch to a higher resolution the menu system really gets screwed up (the game itself is fine though). As Perrin descibed the menus seem to shift right and down (even though there is MORE room to put stuff on the screen...) and one can not get to the X to close the window or even some of the menus themselves as the lists are off the screen or in the 'black hole'. I have recreated this on two different machines... Can anyone help? Infiltration guys - are you there?
