View Full Version : Super radar mode?

Somehow I managed to hit a key that turned on some sort of radar that causes a dot and half circle to appear over the head of the enemy (red) and my team (blue) on the main view. No, I'm not talking about the radar screen, I can turn that off and on and it doesn't effect these other dots. Anybody know what I'm talking about?

to find out what key is bind to toggle radar, main menu>infiltration settings>player config>keys, i suggest you turn radar off completley tho to prepare for online play.

i don't think this is the normal radar(as he said). i've never heard of it putting dots above players heads, but then i've never used it so dunno. do you have a screenshot?

By default it's the HOME key I believe that's bound to the radar..

As I said I don't think it's radar or at least not the kind that's turned off by the "home" key. Below hopefully are 2 picks, one with radar turned on and one when I turned radar off. Notice those red marks are showing where the bad guys are through the castle walls!

I forgot to mention: when I bring up the console those marks disappear!

i wonder if it's some kind of debugging thing?

anyway, let's hope that it's fixed in 2.85 or it could make for some very unfair online games(assuming people find out how to enable it)

Are you using the team beacon mutator or something???
Looks that way!

"team beacon mutator"? Never heard of it, so the answer is no, (unless it comes bundled in Inf I suppose). I imagine things will be fixed when I install 2.85 later today. :D :D :D

it comes with UT, but it doesnt look quite like that. I expect its beppos secret cheat so he can beat the rest of the inf team.

well, I've never seen that kind of thing.

I have my HOME key set up as move backward.
