View Full Version : Infiltration Radio - Problem

I was unable to hear the program live today. Here's what I did:

Clicked on "Click here for current address [of the radio show]" on BP's RealMaps/Inf Radio site.

Copied the site http://infradio.sentrystudios.com:8030
onto my clipboard, pasted it into my browser window, and went to that site. The title of the page is ShoutCast Status. It indicated the show was underway (this was shortly after 11:00 Eastern Time.

I clicked on "Listen."

My RealAudio/Video window popped up and indicated it was connecting. I heard BP say, "You are now listening to Infiltration Radi... ."

And that was all. The indicator on the player still indicated it was "live." No sound. I tried reconnecting several times, and each time it would connect and I would get the above truncated announcement that I'm listening to Infiltration Radi... . Then silence.

Did I do something wrong? Was I blocked from the broadcast because I wasn't on board before 11:00 AM? Was I unable to get in because it was full?

Someone please help if you have any ideas. I was pumped because I FINALLY had a free Saturday morning to listen to Infiltration Radio LIVE, and it was like that recurring dream where you go back to your old high school to watch a football game, someone figures out that you still have eligibility and you can play. You're delerious with joy, and you scramble around trying to get pads, helmet, etc together, everything goes wrong and you never do actually get out on the field before the game is over.

Very frustrating.

I tried D/L it, but my media player just sits, and does nothing, so I asked for an over view of what Warren said.

You are nt alone here.

WinAmp works. It's Sunday night and I'm listening to the "show." Should have tried WinAmp the first time. Thanks, DB.
