Sorry if somebody already made a list like this but I couldn't find one and not even sure if I should post it here. This is an incredible mod and I thought I would list the bugs that I've noticed since I've been playing an awful lot :)

The obvious bugs that I'm sure we are all aware of by now:

- Players can join in the middle of a match.
- Dead can talk to the living
- Certain conditions make it so that leaning makes no part of your body visible.
- Dead can activate doors
- Bulk doesn't seem to effect stamina. I can loadout with 37lbs and I'm certain my stamina is just the same as when at 17lbs.
- You have no idea who killed you. No messages like "joe killed mike with an mp5" only "mike is OUT!"
- The chase camera is pretty screwy when you are dead. You can't fly through textures; you are bound by the same physics as when you are alive. I also wish it would start at the point where you died, instead it takes you back to your spawn point.
- Some spawn points are really fubar. On Chasm I've spawned right next to the enemy base and before you know it I pop 3 of them and I get a chorus of "WTF?". Kind of funny but not too cool :)
- Some players have older skin models. Makes for some really confusing moments when a guy on a team who is supposed to have a desert model instead has some wierd dark bluish-green model which looks too similar to a woodland model.
- Model animation while crouched looks like a guy is skiiing because his feet aren't moving.

Not so obvious ones:

- I'm pretty sure the laser attachment for the mp5 cannot be seen by others.
- On rare ocassion when I go to the prone position I can't get back to normal position. I try to jump, crouch, etc to get out of it but I can't and embarrassingly stuck in prone.
- Network stack corruption. This happens to me about twice a night. I have 3 computers on my home network behind a DSL router. I can confirm that I can do normal internet stuff like use netscape, telnet, etc on the other two computers but on my Win2k PC it gets to the point where I can't access anything on the internet and have to reboot. This doesn't happen to me with other games so I suspect Infiltration is doing something nasty here.

This is a great mod. Once all the bugs are fixed I can see where this will easily surpass CS in popularity. Keep up the great work!

I'll try to adress some of these issues.

The leaning bug will be fixed in the next patch.

Death messages have been left out, since they don't exactly add to the realism of this mod.

The problem with old skin models will be fixed in the next patch.

The MP5 doesn't have a laser attachment. It does not send out a beam of light, unlike the LAM for the SIG 551, hence it can't be seen by others. I might be wrong on this one though.

I have also noticed the prone problem at a few occasions. Hopefully it'll be fixed soon.

I hope I have clarified a few things. Happy hunting! :D

Two roads diverged in a wood and I, I decided to turn around, because let's face it, there are muggers and rapists and all kinds of crazy psychos out there...

So the aimpoint attachment for the mp5 is technically not a laser? Sorry for sounding like a dummy but what creates the red dot then when you use the attachment?

I'm not sure if this is something to do with Infiltration or if it's just me settings but I'll post it anyway.

When you try to manually add an Infiltration Favorite to your list, the Favorite will add fine but it will always display that there are 0/0 Players Online and you will not be able to join the game through the Favorite. If you right click and Open Location manually, however, you can join the game with no problems at all.

Anybody else have this problem?

Another minor bug I found is that sometimes, when you are a ghost you can pick up dead bodies and move them around.

The aimpoint sight uses a lightpoint inside the optics to indicate the bullet strike point, kind of like a crosshair. It does not project anything on the target, it is an illusion.

The better aimpoints are parallax corrected, so no matter how your eye is lined up, the red dot is where the bullet will go.

I have a Tasco Propoint on my (real) AR15, and it is not as good as the Aimpoint, but still is very helpful.

I tried to play Assault mode and a couple of others (not Deatmatch or Team Play) and they wouldn't work at all.

Is this a known bug?

Yep, it is, but there is a workaround: start the game with no bots then enter the console (usually TAB) and type "addbots x" (without quotes) with x the number of bots you want.

Unfortunately you have to do this every time the map is loaded.

Madkiwi: thanks for the info on the aimpoint. That's pretty sweet that nothing is projected. Think I'll use it more often then :)

Oh and another bug to report is that sometimes when you use one of those .50 caliber machine guns you can't switch to your normal weapons for upwards of a minute. No matter how far away you run from the machine gun there is nothing you can do to deselect it and select one of your loadout weapons for a while.

Enders,

I noticed the problem with no weapon after using a .50. Easy fix? Go back to the .50 and instead of being given the Browning again, your weapon pops back into your hands.

At least it did for me. Probably a fix working from Sentry, but at least it is a work-around.

Enders, I posted that prob a LONG time ago!! hehe. I think it may have been 2.75 or whatever.. When I use the machine gun, a Deagle shows up in my weapon inventory.. weird.. I'll try to dig up and revive that old post, hehe.
