So.. I have a iMac DV SE, 400mhz with 384 ram. Infiltration 2.82 ran wondefully (back when I had 128 RAM), yet 2.85 is non-playable (I get perhaps 5 fps) even with 384 ram. Any thoughts? Note - I'm running 9.1, and have the latest OpenGL drivers. Thanks to any who can help! I'm anxious to play this sweeeeet mod.

Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.
Perform a clean install of INF 2.85 onto UT 436 (if you haven't already).
Also make sure to download the latest Mac launcher: HERE. And follow the instructions within that launcher package.
If you install the INI files from the launcher as the readme says, you should be set to use ATI RAVE and not OpenGL graphics. This should make a big difference on a Rage 128-based system like yours.
Give that a try.

also, while i found that with 2.82 i could run comfotably with skin and world texture details set to high, in 2.85 i had to set them down to medium on my mac.

MAKE sure you are using rave, check driver setting in the ini mine was STILL set to software. there is a fix for this SOMEwhere in these forums.

I am running Inf on a 400mhz G4 with 320 mb ram and 9.1, and it works fine here. Check that ur rave settings is correct
