Help a serious newbie AGH!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay ive played mods for along time and this makes no dam sense...

Okay I only brought UT today so dont give me any ****.

Ive downloaded 285 Infiltration and ive downloaded 285.3 patch.

After about an hour I finally got the dam thing working.

But its not working properly or is it ???

Coz i havent plyaed a previous version I dont know AGH!!!! all i Know is im stressed..

Problem =

u get 2 lives right - when i get killed it goes to spectator mode i dont get my second life...then when the round ends it just sits there on camera mode instead of restarting the round or ending the game or restarting the match or what ever it is suposed to do.

Or is this is what is meant to happen ???

Also in the version box top left it only says version 285 it doesnt say version 285.3

is this correct ???

Im a total newbie for this mod and i havent got a clue. Im getting bored of Cs now and fancied a new challenge so plz help.
Also it never saves my charcter set up no matter how many times i click save.

What do u have todo on the mission maps as to me they make no sense...I tried the one with the boat were u get through the bottom but the two doors to the place where th red button is dont open...and although there was suposed to be enemy bots the only enemy was a cannon thing on the side of the ship. so here i have a grt big ????? as in wtf.

All ansewers are greatly appreciated.

Guess its back to plain simple Cs for now :-)

You only get one life. After the round has ended, you have to hit the fire button to respawn again (not sure if you've done this).

If you've installed 2.85.3 correctly, it should be displayed in the upper-left corner of the main menu. I'd suggest reading through the installation instructions (http://www.planetunreal.com/infiltration/manual/install.htm) to make sure you did everythng correctly. Just a quick question. Do you have Unreal Tournament v436 installed? Infiltration 2.8+ requires it.
