if i try to start a server (with the new inf patch) there's a note "INF_CORE VERSION MISMATCH"
i already dowmloaded it 2 times but no changes??? :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :(

are you running version 436 of Unreal Tournament? That might be the problem. Double-check and you can download it from <a href="http://www.unrealtournament.com/downloads/" target="_blank">here</a>. If not have you done a COMPLETE UT install and not some sort of minimal/run from CD install?

Did you try to mix 2.82 and the 2.85 version ?

This is just a guess...but did you install the 2.80 map pack before the 2.85 one?
I think the 2.85 pack overwrites and updates some of the 2.80 maps, so If you did it in the wrong order you'll get a mismatch.
Again, just a guess...

I believe his problem is that he has not patched to 2.85.3 and is trying to connect to servers using them....thats where the core mismatch comes from.

Did you JUST do 2.85.3? Or did you download 2.85, install that, then do the other two patches in order?

can you join online/lan games or play locally against a bot? meaning you only get this when you try and start a local/netwar server?

Okay i reinstalled inf but now i can't download the 2.85 mappack...(with fileplanet)
