Umod file doesn't open

Hey all

How does the umod file open 'cause i can't open it. When i try to open it there is a screen coming up. (with wich program do u want to open it???) so can someone help me... don't look and leave plz reply

Open Windows Explorer
click 'View'
click 'Folder Options'
Click 'File Types' tab
click 'New Type'
in Description of Type put 'Unreal Module'
In Associated Extension put 'UMOD'
Click on 'New' under ACTION
In Action put '&Install Unreal Module'

This is important!

In 'Application to Perform Action' put this:
c:\unrealtournament\system\setup install "%1"

Hmm... I'm not sure why that's not working.

You could try draging the .umod file and dropping it on top of Setup.exe in the UT/system folder.

Zund basicaly your mtehod is good. But i experienced the same problem.
There are some registries entry missing. The only way to fiw it is to reinstall UT :( (oR knowing what to add in the registry of course)

I think I got it. I got a copied ut and u haven't gotta install. Maybe if i put in the demo so the demo installs the applications :) ill try that thing what the walking man says and the other things. Thanks and try to reply more so i have more chance to solve this

when the window comes up to "choose which application to open this with" click on the OTHER button and browse to find the unrealtournament.exe file or whatever it's called..should be in the \UnrealTournament\System folder..
