Patch Problems! Help Please!

I downloaded the patch from http://quake.hal-pc.org/ (Infiltration285-Patch1-UMOD) and installed it. When I get to the menu screen, it said that I have version 2.85. I tried downloading it again and I tried re-installing the patch, but It still says I have version 2.85. I cant play online because when I try to join a server I get INF_Core Mismatch. This happens on every server I try to join. Someone please help me!

did you download them all? There is a 2.85 full, and then the newest 2.85.3. You need to download them and apply them in that order. You can get them from <a href="http://www.planetunreal.com/infiltration/downloads280.htm" target="_blank">here</a>. Download them and install them in that order:

2.85 Full Release (56megs approx)
and then the
2.85.3 Patch (6 megs approx)

make sure your UnrealTournament is patched to 436 as well which you should be able to get from <a href="http://www.unrealtournament.com/downloads/" target="_blank">here</a>.

Try that and see if that works if you havn't done that already, if you have then I'll have to see what else the problem is..also do a search there are a few messages on this error already..

oh yeah if you're in 800x600 resolution or LOWER the menu will only show 2.85 or it might even be cut off. If you can run 1024x768 you'll see the 2.85.3 show up there in the upper-left of that menu.

I had a look at the download site and It could be that they only have the first pach this would explain not getting onto the servers get the newest patch here--> http://www.planetunreal.com/infiltration/downloads280.htm

The version display is abit funny try switching you vid resolution 1024x768 and back again I found sometimes that updates the screen properly.

oh man Wiseass[BNTY] got TWO posts in the time it took me to get back on that I should realy stop using that stonetablet keyboard
