If a player-character or bot is injured severely, they should leave a blood trail as they move around. It shouldn't last too long (don't want to clog the servers), about as long as a corpse lasts in UT, with the patch.
This would make tracking and hunting down wounded prey *much* easier.

A mutator that does that is already available.
Think it's called Bloodtrails.umod, or so..
It leaves footprints(I know not really realistic) in red color on the floor.
You even can judge how wounded the prey is from the exact color of the footprint..
anything you do can get you killed, including doing nothing

Yes I saw that, but that doesn't necessarily mean that your player leaves blood, merely that he dies over a period of time.
