View Full Version : Frantic, hyper server bug.

This happened yesterday on the [ab4ce], or is it [lab4ce] server in Germany, on Kazakhstan, running at 20 player capacity. The entire map spazzed out, running at about 10 times the normal speed, and jerking around all over the place, provoking much laughter from the rapid-fire dance of everyone involved. Did you know you can empty an MP5 magazine without it making any sound (too fast for the engine) :)

The problem resolved itself when the next map started.

I don't think this is INF's fault, but just thought I'd bring it to attention.

The only bad thing was, that you could not run taht fast...then it would have been some rushing party :)

Actually, Kaz wasn't supposed to be released as an online map. That's a bug we've had ever since we started working on 285. It only happens on Kaz for some unknown reason... Beppo and Bastard 'O spent HOURS pouring over it and reworking things, to no avail. Apparently some servers can run it, but on all 4 of mine and all the others I've dropped by, nope. :(
