Would like to join any clan

Start one!

I have considered joining a clan, but they seem awfully structured. I mean the little initials in their name look cool, I'm being serious (seriously), but they seem so....serious (what a horrible sentence). Some of the clans seem so militaristic (duh). I would rather a clan that felt more like a bunch o' guys getting together, having some beers and carrying automatic weapons. Something little more informal.

The thing is I'm not really someone who JOINS clubs, but starts them, its much more fun. In college I took the best parts of the first two clubs I bumped into and made my own. I met the 'young repulbicans' and the 'college democrats.' So I started the 'young college anarchists.' Sure we only had ONE successful 'event.' Sure we only had ONE mention in the college paper for vandalism. Sure we only had one meeting. Sure we broke up after graduation, but the book burning was fun!

But for now i don't think we will have one. Because in elite military group female aren't allowed.

Drop by www.ilcr.net and check us out. There is a link to us on the main INF page, and we're the official 1 stop shop for finding clans. We have the most comprehensive list, including several in your native country, Holland. Just click on the Listing link and look for The Netherlands Flag beside a teams name. I Believe there are 3 or 4 Teams you can find.

There are clans from the Netherlands listed. But only one Dutch clan has a website listed, the others have no information other than the name of the 'clanleader' ...

I'm sure glad I don't live in Holland.

I will preface this statement by saying that I AM NOT in the military, but a biologist (seeking employment, in that field so if you guys know anyone tell me!): last I heard, at least here in the states, women are not allowed in front line combat units. This is probably dated as I recall this from the desert storm days.

But I would have to think that women do play the game/sim (even if I've never met one, not that you can tell by the muzzle flash) therefore they should have the option of picking a female model. IMHO.

Yes i'm sure !

I know women are not allowed for exmample in one of our elite group called "Commando de Marine / Commando hubert" Who are deep diving commando.
But i'm pretty sure than our other commando units doesn't allow them too. Like "Dragon parachutiste" Who are people trained to derived in air for more than several hundred kilometers to arrived behind the ennemy line and hide there for several month to collect informations. (They are part of our national spying cell, called DGSE. I hope i didn't revealed a national secret )
