I was in an ornithology lab (it was raining so we were stuck indoors), and my 'lab team' and myself were gathered around a 'duck and goose' book. When I said 'Canada goose get there name from the maple leaf pattern on their back.' So ALL my 'teammates' rush off to our instructor to ask him if HE has any 'overhead shots' of a canada goose. Under 'normal' circumstances an 'overhead shot' means the biod is 'over' YOUR head (a natural place for most birds), but they wanted to see a shot FROM over the bird and when HE (our instructor) asked why they wanted to see a 'over the head' shot of a canada goose they in all innocence told him. HAHAHAH! Ahhh...the glare I got. It was almost as good as the time at a childrens birthday party...when I was telling all the little kids where fish sticks and those square fish filets come from (of course square fish), the little kids had known me for far too long, though, so they figured out I was lying when I told them they were caught in 'round' nets.
