View Full Version : Multiple textures on one surface?

I'm finishing up my first level and have a ton of
questions, but I'll post them seperately so the
archives are easier to search (I have little luck
finding anything in there myself with titles like
"help")...

Anyways, the floor of my level is all carved out
of the world with one box. Does this mean I can
only apply one texture to it? I'd like different areas
to look differently.

Like, how would you go about placing a picture
on a wall, assuming you don't want it to repeat
along the wall forever?

Place a sheet of appropriate side a few units(I use one) away from the wall or surface on which you want to apply the second texture.

-Try putting a SOLID brush inside the wall so that the outer surface of the block lines up with the wall/floor.

-Use brush clipping with the split brushes function.
