I have never mentioned it to anybody before, because I never play Inf offline anyway, besides testing maps. Well my problem is... I can't choose the number of bots, I can't choose the game type, and it's always set to Deathmatch, rather than Team Deathmatch. I have a mac g4 with OS 9.1 and another one exactly the same, with exactly the same problem.

I've got the same thing going on =P It's something you can live with until you want to learn a new map before venturing online to get your head filled with lead. If you find a fix I'd love to know.

Sounds like you installed using the 2.86 Mac Installer and 2.86 Launcher. Unfortunately they are buggy. Check to see if the Infiltration.int file is missing from the UT>System folder. If it is this may fix your problem:
If the Interface screen is missing Gametypes or other items you need to put the Infiltation.int (http://members.home.net/dlull/infiltration/Infiltration.int) (in Explorer, hold mouse button and select Download Link to Disk) file in the UT System folder.
