I had an idea for a gamemode. It works like this:

Each team spawns normally. Then after a certain percentage of a team dies (dertermined by the server) they respawn after 10 seconds as a reinforcement group. So say we're on a 20 person server and the "reinforcement" percentage is set to 40%. The round starts and people on red team go down. There are 3 down. Once the 4th goes down 10 seconds later they respawn as "reinforcements."

I think this would give a better feel of a constant battle than the current system. While making less deathmatch than single respawns as people will come back in small units.

As far as winning goes there are several ways you could do that:

1.) If an entire team gets wiped out within 10 seconds the opposing team wins as their is no longer a "foothold" in the area for reinforcements to be safely delivered.

2.) You could set a number of reinforcements per team. Say 5. Which would mean on our hypothetical 20 person server 20 people could die and come back per team.

3.)You could set a timer and whichever team had the least reinforcements come in would be considered the winner.

Sounds pretty cool, but I suggest thinking it over some more, like slowly...


How aobut this, every 30 seconds if there are more than 50% dead members in a team they are respawned, there are 3 respawns per team, if you die after the last respawn you're dead, and when the whole team dies then it's over.

this way it makes more sense and fixes spawnkilling in a way!

The times and percentages and number reinforcements could be made changeable by the server ops. With like a max of 50% min of 20% min time 10 max time 30.
