Stupid online gaming question...

Sometimes I wanna play INF with just some friends, and sometimes on maps not very often used on the ordinary INF-online servers... What to do then? Is there a way to play INF (start a server) head-to-head (as in a LAN-game) over the internet? Is it possible?

Yep.

Flip the swith to net war, then click the launch button. You will be serving the game.

I have tried that. It worked fine with local LAN-game but not over the internet; the buddy that I planned to game together with never saw the my server in the browser list among the other servers. Is there a way to "tune in" a specific server, using IP-number or something somewhere?

Tell him to right click in the server browser and go to Open location. Then he can type in your IP number
