View Full Version : importing .wav into UnrealEd 2.0

I've got UT Game of the Year Edition v.436 running on a PII 450 196 megs of RAM using Win2K. When I try importing a .wav (16bit 44khz) in UnrealEd the sound appears in the Sound Browser for about half a second and then nothing happens. I've tried saving the sound package the .wav was supposed to be imported into, and then reopening the package but the sound is never in there. I've tried installing UnrealEd Fix 4 but that causes UnrealEd to have a runtime error on startup and crash. Apart from the sound issue, UnrealEd seems to be running fine. Any suggestions?

What does the LOG say?

Anyways, Try this:
-Open an UT/Unreal sound pack.
-Import your sounds into it.
-Delete all default sounds from it and leave only your own ones in.
-Save it under a DIFFERENT NAME.
